Who we are

At the Unity Project, our mission is to empower people to live their best life by focusing on trauma informed care.

Through our model, people are given the environment and support to break the cycle of trauma in its many forms.

From securing housing to building community skills and independence, we’re here to help remove barriers and empower people to acknowledge their strengths, fostering positive change and independence.

Break The Cycle

All of our services are aimed at finding ways to remove barriers people may face when overcoming the effects of trauma and mental health challenges.

Community Programs

We offer programs specifically designed to promote meaningful engagement, skill development, and social interaction for people coping with trauma and mental health challenges.

Our tailored programs provide opportunities to learn new skills, explore interests, and participate in recreational, educational, or cultural activities. By nurturing connections with others, our community programs help to create a supportive environment that supports personal growth.

Who we support

Long Term Mental Health

Many in our community face serious mental health challenges, which can result in repeated hospitalisations or involvement with the criminal justice system.

Our mission is to provide a supportive environment centred on safety, respect, and trust. This environment aims to assist individuals in breaking this cycle and identifying strengths and goals.

Criminal Justice System

People who have experienced incarceration may carry trauma from various life experiences.

Our objective is to offer a secure and stable environment built on trust. We understand the unique needs of each individual and work together to address their specific situation and achieve their set goals.
